I had to bring in my 2016 Yukon for intermittent brake failure which apparently is a known issue with this make and model, not to mention a very dangerous situation. Rather than take first hand initiative, responsibility to this issue, the repair guys seemed to push off as if Yukons do not exhibit this problem and that, even after I was told I needed new brakes, rotors just a few months prior, I now needed to pay for a new ?pump? for a known manufacturer issue. I had run into another customer with the same issue - brake failure at low speeds. It took me looking up the Fed investigation and a lawsuit in TX regarding this known brake failure issue, for the dealer/repairs to step up to the plate and take responsibility by submitting the issue to GMC directly. Why did it take all of this and why did they deny it was a known issue in the first place?? I appreciate transparency and honesty; not treating customers as if we are fools, making up issues.
